Making your Chiropractic Journey Easier
01
Your First Visit (initial consultation):
-
To kick things off, we will need to know about your medical history, current issues, and any specific concerns you have. It is vital that we understand your overall health so that we can tailor your treatment. We are not here to judge, but to help you live a pain free and healthier life.
-
Once we have gathered medical information, one of our chiropractors will perform a thorough examination which may include orthopaedic and neurological tests to assess your posture, range of motion, and spinal alignment.
-
After your examination, a chiropractor will discuss their findings with you and outline a personalised treatment plan. This will include the number of treatment sessions needed, the type of adjustments or therapies recommended, and any lifestyle changes that may support your recovery.
-
If your condition allows, you may receive your very first chiropractic adjustment. A chiropractor will explain the process and what you might feel during and after the adjustment
02
Follow-up Visits (routine adjustments):
-
Each visit will typically involve a brief consultation to review your progress, followed by chiropractic adjustment. You may also receive additional therapies, such as massage or physical therapy exercises, as part of your treatment plan.
-
As with any treatment plan, feedback is encouraged. You shouldn’t feel inferior to your chiropractor and should outline any concerns you may have, progress that you have noticed, and thoughts on the overall treatment experience.
-
Routinely, your chiropractor will assess your progress and make adjustments to your treatment plan based on your response to care. As a chiropractic clinic, whose purpose is to educate, help, and improve people's lives we will provide you with guidance on exercises, stretches, and posture to make sure you receive the best results possible.
03
After Your Visit (post-adjustment care):
-
What you might not know, is that it is absolutely common to feel some mild soreness or stiffness after an adjustment. However, it should ease away within a day or two. If you still feel pain or discomfort and are worried, please contact your chiropractor for further guidance.
-
Depending on your personalised treatment plan, you may have scheduled follow-up visits. We’ll work with you to ensure that you’re on track with your recovery goals.
